• Registration fees range from $128.00 to $180.00 (larger vehicle or truck) bi-yearly
• Drivers’ Licenses are $45 and are due for renewal every 5 years
• If you hold a valid driver’s license, you will only have to take a vision test when transferring to a Maryland drivers’ license
• If you purchase a vehicle out of Maryland and register your car with the MVA, a value is determined from the Blue Book value (or the bill of sale) of the automobile – you will pay a 6% tax on that value. Inspections are a one time occurrence when you first title your car in the state of Maryland
