Welcome to Harford County’s BRAC Information site. The purpose of this site is to inform and provide BRAC related information to our current citizens and the residents and businesses that will be relocating to Harford County.

BRAC 2005 impacts 13 installations nationwide and makes APG one of 20 BRAC growth communities in the US. By law, all BRAC 2005-impacted missions must be moved and fully operational by September 15, 2011.

WHAT IS BRAC?
BRAC is an acronym that stands for Base Realignment & Closure which is the process the Department of Defense uses to reorganize its federal installations for a more efficient and streamlined approach.
